Leslie Brooks took her first art class at the age of 5 and has been making art ever since. She has shown in museums and galleries on both coasts. She has also been writing all of her life, has published several books (see her books pages), and is a master soul worker.
Her Soul Encaustics portray the many dimensions of her personal world through a combination of encaustic wax medium, organic materials, found objects, words and color. She lives in Colrain, MA, close to the Vermont border. Her Soul Encaustics are on display and for sale in a private gallery open by appointment in her home, in Colrain, MA, 15 minutes north of Shelburne Falls. They are also at the Salmon Falls Gallery in Shelburne Falls, MA., as well as on the annual "Crafts of Colrain Open Studio Tour" on the weekend of November 11-12. https://www.craftsofcolrain.com/ If interested in a private viewing, please let her know by filling out her contact page. She loves to show her art! |
