(I decided to write this part in the third person, so it might feel less of a brag! Can't help myself!! Tee-hee!)
Leslie took her first art class at the age of five and has been making art ever since. She has shown in museums and galleries on both coasts. She has also published several books (see her
books pages), and is a master soul worker, although she no longer practices.
Her Soul Encaustics portray the many dimensions of her personal world through a combination of encaustic wax medium, organic materials, found objects, words and color.
Recently, she has branched out into mixed media painting and decoupage "treasures boxes."
She lives in Colrain, MA, close to the Vermont border.
Her artwork and books are on display and for sale in her private gallery open by appointment, in Colrain, MA, 15 minutes north of Shelburne Falls. They are also available on the annual "Crafts of Colrain Open Studio Tour" which takes place over the second weekend in November every year - www.craftsofcolrain.com
Arthouse Gallery in Wilmington, VT, also displays her work - www.arthousevt.com
If interested in a private viewing, please let her know by filling out her contact page. She loves to show her art!
